It has a good filtering property and is harmless to human body. It has been widely used in metallurgical and boatmaking industry all over the world.

Texturized yarns can be used for filter-cloth and thermal insulation fabrics instead of asbestos products. The tape, rope and tube manufactured of texturized fiberglass can be used for wrapping steam tracer lines, gasketing and friction material.
